Polito, learned business, specifically marketing, and this is his medium, by making products with a practical result with social impact and enviroment, he is bringing a peace of a mosaic proposing a shift on direction, same as beuys did planting trees on a documenta. The education of consumer and preservation of the forest trough items on the super market aims a similar effect that boys planting trees in Munster, but the difference is to protect the last rain forest and its native inhabitants that need urgent attention. in the same way boys p….

In this process already under Meta Mate, Polito launched on the Market a Mate Bier, Mier (https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Datei:Mate_beer\_-\_mier_2.jpg, ) and participated in the Ocupy Session of the Berliner Bienal with the “Bar of Liquid Democracy”.
Colonialism brought tea, capitalism brought coffee, the urgency of climate change and forest protection can be tackled with a new drink. Meta Mate has a proposal to make a bridge and practical way of changing things.
Logo – Made by Acci baba – The awarded caligrafist created this comissioned work as a non commercial statement , without a briefing, making a circular target like logo, using open source Stancil the militar guerrilla font, resambling a stam. It is offered as a CC NC SA 3.0 and used by many brand with or without permission. As symbol for a category, with the word meta, 10 years before face book applyes the use, but proposing for the drink of friendship, Its functions as a protest pirate flag, as an intel inside other market brands. infunsing a new dimention on the market. The synonim of the meta mate, which goes a beyond the mate, shows the need of rethink consume , trues and lies in marketing. This name also as a neologism corrects the colonialist wrong mistaken name of calling erva or yerba. The european that never went to the forest, seeing the crashed lieves called it yerba, what means a bush without trunk or bark, while the plant, the Illex Paraguariensis is a tree that in the forest growths up to 25 meter.
The brand logo is used by several companies in network with Meta Mate but also from Companies that do not relate with meta mate that either use the same logo or copy it with changes to upgrade their perceived value (if wished fotos from Old Biozicht, new Volkel Ice Tea and Biozicht, argentinean and arabic spinn offs can be supplied)
” This Mate makes a mini Mate and Lots of Trash ” – The usual tea tags have positive messages that hides the fact that it creates an unecessary waste and contributes to the polution of the environment. By making the consumer be confronted at home with this message, it is disruptive and even question the different morals among producers and consumers being camouflaged. Such a theme is in the art kalso present when the values between mecenas and artist are not in synthesis (see wistler Peackock and the new https://www.vam.ac.uk/exhibitions/filthy-lucre) . Polito assumes being influenced by the yes men and feels ressonance with david callins subvertising . This interventions launchs a first art in the pop. As the artist Chavier Secilia says about the 23 sache; ” the consumer is buying in the super market contemporary art without knowing”
Regenerative collage Video, from work Jorge Bodanzky , the beginning of the video art shows the amazonia burning on the 70s. Those were the very first images that runned the world, and the movie was awarded in Cannes festival. Polito connects it with the monoculture disaster following and the pratical choice of regeneration creating forests. This work was shown by Nina.
Weapons of Mass communication – mate in berlin, shown with the pyra instalation of Michael Saup. The munition box is now with Nina and there is a text about it.
Now The collage that we propose to the next show from Nina has the Working Title:
Where are the yanomami – A caboration with Joao Amado (https://www.instagram.com/l0ved___\_\_/?hl=de)
This work is a part of of a series to by entitled by the name ” Where are the Yanomami ” focus in the the deforest and its consequent lost of human kindness and values attemting to reflect the hole of the artist at those urgent matters of the rain forest distruction. Like in the Rainbow Children and Open Home Project, the Meta Meta and “Where are the Yanomami” has a concrete approach and result, directing a larger amount of the income to a good will project to protect forest and regenerate areas of monoculture.
It is opportunity to make use of the famous Lévi-Strauss caracteristion where art is shown as the last rescue place for the wild thinking in our society. Joao and Fabricio explaining the work:
The works – mixed media on paper – when carried out on sheets of inventory registration of a business in Micaelense from 1969, are based on highlighting the presence of capital, of merchandise in the life of the native innahbitans of the forests. . In this sense, the base whose works are developed in the presentation of the Indian circumscribed by the elements that are part of his memory and identity, is the same base that cancels part of the indigenous presence. As has happened in Brazilian territory, where the constant progression of capitalism as a vehicle for sustaining a system of consumption and standardization of culture causes a fading or even disappearance of indigenous cultures.
The theoretical foundation, which leads to the presence of certain symbols, phrases or words in the works, comes from the thoughts of Ailton Krenak & Yussef Campos “A Vida Nao é útil, Idéias para adiar o fim do mundo” , as well of David Kopenawa and Bruce Albert “La Chute du ciel, Paroles dun chaman Yanomami”.

Shifting back to my historical context, my inspiration is rooted in the works of groups like the Yes Men and the subvertising movement. Currently, an entire exhibition in Berlin, “Advertising Break” (Werbe Pause), delves into this domain. Although, exploring the thought-provoking artworks by curator Darren Cullen provides a more direct perspective. I note the historical use of collage subvertising propaganda by the Dada movement in 1920s Berlin, an artistic connection I deeply resonate with, given my ties to Berlin’s artistic community. This rich tapestry of cultural allusions underpins my creative process, fueling my upcoming endeavors.
